MG Computer Repairs - Networking
What is a network
A network is in basic terms a whole bunch of computers
that are connected together. They may or may not share the
internet a printer but usually do share some sort of common
resource.
Networks
You can get two types of networks. Wireless
and Cabled.
Cabled networks are much faster than Wireless ones but having
the speed comes at a cost because you can not walk around
anywhere in your home without the cable connected. These
networks are great if you would like to do great deals of file
transfers from one computer to another.
Wireless networks are much better if your mobile throughout your home and want to be connected to the internet but are terrible for transferring data around the home.
